"This painting depicts a black and white snake that slithers its way through the three women; sneaking away with three cherries (to symbolize the virginity of each woman). The women are left with a hole in their heart. It's a collective pain that resonates with women everywhere. Those who have been violated typically continue their lives with the capacity to love.
