Ecaterina Elena Schiwago, visual artist,is member of the Association of Fine Artists in Romania - Timişoara Branch, specialization painting, Master graduate of the Faculty of Arts and Design of the Western Universit Timişoara. My works have been sold to buyers from Romania, Hungary, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the USA, Canada. I exhibit my works in art galleries and online galleries. Distinctions and Appreciations: -Nominated for the award, painting section, at the national exhibition Lascar Vorel, Piatra Neamt, Romania-2019 -Diploma of Excellence at the Art Biennial Taranto , Italy, 2017 - "Quo vadis I" -The selected my works-"Vibrations in lunar space" , for patrimony of the Art Museum Timisoara in the Art Salon-2015 Since 2007, she took part on numerous national collective und group exhibitions and had some personal exhibitions. Within the artistic procedures, Ecaterina Schiwago approaches different themes by making painting series, expecting some occasional works with singular subject. Of the themes/subjects approached and developed within some series of works, we remind: - The story of receptables, reporting herself to object ob of the prehistoric receptable, the household object enriched or simplified in chromatic versions; - Memory fragment, (the name of a personal exhibition in 2015), where the direction is the visual re-signification of an artefact, of an emblematic element - the hat of my grandfather that becomes the plastic construction sign of the space; - Music and dance, catches in some works cultural traditions, in others the joy and dynamics of the characters. - Standing, where the subject is the chair, positioned in different contexts, beside the plastic image wants to transmit a state: sitting for contemplation, suspended, frozen etc.
