ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Blue pigments help me convey my deepest feelings and moods. I get lost in hours of painting, and I find insight through the process. As I reflected on this piece, I felt a sense of calm and hope, knowing that facing intrusive thoughts with the help of a fantastic doctor and therapist is helping me create new memory connections. I hope that my art inspires reflection and encourages others struggling with painful thoughts and memories to seek mental health treatment.
