Mercury risen over Rheinland Print

Mercury is part of my Lonely Avatar series... Germans love Freddy Mercury...and he fascinates me as well. I know this prior fact because I lived in the Rheinland for a few years, and every year Bohemian Rhapsody was the #1 all-time song on local radio's yearly hit parade. (To put this in perspective, Stairway didnt even make the top 10.) He floats above a landscape which holds memories and mourning for me, and this echoes how many of us feel about the singer: he is actually life-sized but pictorially monumental, he is tragic, but also sexy and magnetic and still holds fireworks in his eyes. This painting is handcrafted on premium belgian linen using some of the finest oil paints made by man. It comes with a document of authenticity, is signed and dated by me and bears my "ladybug" mark on the back. It is framed with a simple but elegant lattice frame.
