This encaustic mixed media piece includes: beeswax, damar resin, acrylic, photography, amethyst stone inlay, wooden butterflies in acrylic wired on eucalyptus branches, paper, and pigments on foam core and wood frame. The inspiration for metamorphosis comes from the changes we all must encounter throughout life and our experience of being human.
