I am a Ukrainian artist. I was born in Donetsk in 1979. I am a Ukrainian artist. I was born in Donetsk in 1979. I decided to become an artist at the age of three. I graduated from the Department of Temple (Monumental) Painting at the Ukrainian National Academy of Arts. I have since developed a great love for Ukrainian folk icons and Ukrainian Baroque, as well as receiving an academic education in drawing and painting. I have participated in numerous group exhibitions, plein air events and art residencies. I have held five solo exhibitions. I create collages, wall paintings, sculptures and illustrations. However, the main thing that I love doing the most is painting, particularly oil painting. The most important things for me in painting are colour and the lightness of colour. Sometimes I incorporate text and words into my work. This is possible because my grandmother was a writer and my parents were journalists. I often create a series of works. I want what I create to be filled with feelings and have a layering of meanings like a good poem.
