ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Miniature from the series of works "Flowers in miniature". Made on canvas with oil paints of the professional series "Master class" from the factory "Nevskaya palitra". Framed in Italian plastic. Behind a special device (hanger) for hanging on the wall. Single and original author's painting. Did you know that...? It turns out that wreaths were woven even in Ancient Egypt. So, in the tomb of Tutankhamun, the remains of wreaths of daisies and cornflowers were found. That's the ancient history of flowers. Besides, cornflower has always been respected. The famous image is the blue "lights" of cornflowers in a golden rye field. They are also the national flower of Estonia and the symbol of the Freedom Party in Austria. This humble plant deserves such reverence and love from all over the globe.

I was born in the capital of a small Baltic country in a family of artists 51 years ago. I've been drawing since I was a child, as long as I can remember. I was friends with a neighbor boy whose parents were also artists. That's why he and I grew up in a creative environment. Perhaps such an environment (poets, artists, musicians, artists) influenced my development. I drew always and everywhere, and often automatically (unconsciously) . At the age of 17, after graduating from high school, I, as is typical of young people, was a terrible maximalist. It seemed to me that I already know everything and know how to do everything. My parents wanted me to continue my studies at the Art Academy.
