I am a Sri Lankan painter-woman struggling with pain in my heart to keep my internal antenna functioning on a daily basis , that signals about the small lighted up stage within a vast dark arena ; to save my internal drive for authentic self-expression from the aggressive dark forces of profit driven dynamics in the art world. Drawing and painting became an addiction for me, from a very young age. From there on, I started to paint according to the topics that were given to me by my family, my school and eventually the society at large.
