About The Artwork
This work is inspired by the famous cinema actress Marilyn Monroe. There is no doubt that Marilyn Monroe is an emblematic icon of the cinema since several decades ago. We won't never be able to forget her performances in movies such as ''Some like it hot'', ''Gentlemen prefer blondes'', ''Love nest'', etc. I would like that this work help viewers remember the films of this unforgettable cinema star of 1960s by portraying her in a make up session. I chose watercolor and color pencils for this work because these techniques are very suitable for painting soft and delicate skin colors. It has done on watercolor paper. I hope the audience enjoy it.

In addition, I would like to comment on a brief biography of my career: - I was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1978. - I graduated in Plastic Arts and Design (Valencia) and work as an Artistic Painter and professor of Drawing and Painting. -In 2019 I obtained the Extraordinary Prize for Professional Teaching in Plastic Arts and Design awarded by the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Community, Spain). - My works deal with natural landscapes, on the human figure and also on the subconscious and dream worlds. In constant training and evolution, searching for the language that best conveys my inner feelings and concerns. I hope that your walk through this page is a truly inspiring experience.
