About The Artwork

I often walk around Stockholm at night and see how the guards work ... It's hard work, daily stress. I dedicated this painting to a famous Swedish woman who works as a security guard, and their work is shown on a weekly reality program, she also opened her own small company that helps homeless Swedish old people. This tall, beautiful blonde reminded me of the Vikings from the Scandinavian sagas ... And I really liked this image and her face.

Ramz Gadzh lives and works in Stockholm. I grew up in a southern republic of the Soviet Union and have always enjoyed drawing and drawing as a child. I am inspired by society, people and our world. When I was a young artist, I worked a lot in the portrait genre. In recent times, my inspiration is often drawn from society and from within. Symbolism is my favorite direction. With the symbols I can express myself in the best way. But I do not just appear in symbolism. My works can be varied from a landscape of impressionism style to political caricatures. Techniques are also different. I experiment a lot with techniques, mixing them together. However, I still use mainly oil. I use painting as a trace to tell, criticize, explain what I am unable to express in speech or writing. So that I tell in my art about love, life and death, good and evil, about the burdens of people and the burdens of modern society, about lying politicians, false values etc. In art, the most important thing to me is the idea. My favorite artist is Robert Banksy. But I am also inspired by Leonardo do Vinchi, Bosch, Klimt.
