About The Artwork

The Slavic legend about the Fern Flower - "Kwiat Paproci" probably comes from Botrychium lunaria, Moonwort (pol. "Podejźrzon księżycowy") is a demanding fern, rare, who will find it during the summer solstice, it will bring good luck. Look for the Moonwort - small in size, inconspicuous in appearance, very difficult to find in the grass. It always grows where the turf is low, the soil is fertile, loamy and humus. Moonwort grows in fertile meadows. It is a plant that brings good luck and prosperity.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I move between different styles, combining abstraction with figuration. Concerning themes and my color palette, I have no restrictions, with one exception: I avoid dramatism in depicted situations. Only the scale between extensive backgrounds and minor human figures or vehicles is constant. I am inspired by Dutch painting, especially by Peter Breughel. I like to think of my paintings as a kind of poetry without words. http://www.artminnow.com/index.php/2017/04/14/a-conversation-with-grazyna-smalej/
