I began my art education at Foundation at Wirral College of Art, followed by a Fine art degree at Nottingham Trent University.
During my working life I have usually had a brush or pen in my hand. I was a Paint & Trace artist in the Animation industry in London before my interest in ceramics led me to set-up a ceramic tile business with my wife, producing hand-painted tiles( Reptile).
I have devoted more time to painting over the last 5 years, mostly landscape painted plein air, but also the figure.
