ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspiration for this piece came from my daily walks on the beach where I often find myself lost in thought and mesmerized by the beauty of the ocean. My hope is that viewers of this painting will feel a sense of calm and tranquility as they gaze upon the soothing colors and expressive brushstrokes. The choice of acrylic paints allowed for vibrant colors and a textured surface. The abstract expressionist style allowed me to convey the essence of the ocean while allowing the viewer to interpret it in their own way. The subject matter, blue ocean, reflects the tranquility and vastness of nature. This contemporary and original piece is perfect for adding a unique touch to any space.
