I, Preshita Shah Gupta am an Interior Designer by profession. I have graduted from The School of Interior Design, CEPT, Ahmedabad as a triple gold medalist. Art and painting have been with me since i was a young girl which even made me choose a creative profession.The marriage of Design and Art can even be seen in my professional projects. Having being born to a painter mother, i started painting at a very young age. She has played a major role in influencing my style of painting and its her gift to me that painting today has become my elixir to life. I usually work with bright colours and my style is defined by straight lines, bold stokes and simplicity of form and composition. I usually work on the Indian contemporary style where traditional Indian elements, scenes and contents are modernized, simplified, retaining the essential elements and omitting the unnecessary detail. Being young, my style is still evolving and i sure have a long way to go.
