Mt Mansfield Twilight 2019 Print

I'm making a one stop visual upload detour before continuing with my previously promised night photo and oil ( of Burlington Vermont's waterfront along Lake Champlain ) with another look at one of Vermont's most iconic sites, Mount Mansfield. Part of why has to do with my whole intent for starting an account here at Saatchi Art, which as I wrote in my info intro, is to "reveal to myself what it is I've been so content to have worked at creating all these decades" -- my stops and starts, my return to older methods of working with colors and textures, my recycling back and forth between oils, acrylics and watercolors. And, in this case, partly because I recently again came across this work in our youngest daughter's home. She said this was one of two of her most favorite works she has of mine ❤️ So though the original is not for sale, and because I've recently been uploading a series of works (new and older) featuring Mt Mansfield, I felt this short detour might be worth it -- esp as seeing lines and scumbles I once wasn't too sure of now look great! I do think, much has to do with the way oil mixes and settles over time; even water soluble oil, which Mt Mansfield Twilight 2019 is. Meanwhile, prints from 9x12 to 30x40 are available! 😊
