My Second Rothko Print

Inspired by Mark Rothko's amazing work, I decided to divide my panel to three parts, each with its own energy. The work came out very intense, and Jackson Pollock made a guest appearance in inspiring me to create the top panel, with splashes and paint drips. There's also a story behind the wood piece of wood that represents the body of the boat. It belongs to a frame of an embroidery that hung in my mother's bedroom for many years. When it fell and broke, I had it re-framed, but could not part with the old precious pieces I have known all my life.
