I was born the same year as Paul McCartney was in Sacramento, California. I have been interested in art from the time I first picked up a crayon. My favorite work has the irrationality of a dream. I like the complications that I make for myself and am interested in color and patterns. I am inspired by nature especially by the sky and by animals both domestic and wild. I have two tuxedo cats and they are frequently in my work as they are part of my family. I am also inspired by everyday life and by some force that comes through me that drives me to create.
