ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This series of works focuses on the experience of the landscape itself, regardless of cultural or geographical background. They are like moments that may be encountered at any time along the way, yet there is a sense of déjà vu, as if we have already met them in the distant past. In Nameless Landscape No.3, I mainly used various greens to organize the picture, including light, dark, cool and warm. At the same time, I focused on the contrast between the near shadows and the bright light in the distance.

Ziyi Huang is an oil painter currently living and working in Hangzhou, China. His recent works are mainly landscapes, inspired by travels to Europe and the mountains. He received Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the China Academy of Art, where he is now studying for Doctoral degree. He entered an artist residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, France. He is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA), International Council of Visual Arts (ICVA), Association Sino-Française d'Échange d'Art (ASFEA), 90' Creative Art Society, Zhejiang Artists Association and Zhejiang Association of Oil Painters. His paintings have been exhibited in China, UK, France, Italy, Canada and Japan, and he has held solo exhibitions in Hangzhou and Xiamen, China.
