1977 Mexico City Salvador Díaz is a visual artist focused on contemporary painting as a critical reflection on written language as conceptual and compositional sustenance of his work with the intervention in newspapers, on collective memory and the permanence of information for punctual or timeless review of the events, measuring the pulse of society through its press in a round trip with the possibility of giving voice to the social unrest caused by the accusations in the media, the manipulation and the reality of the witness, who may be collecting fragments or fissures of a model of power, based on the need to enunciate a desire different from the intricate system of relations with respect to the complexity of the world that seemed to be excluded. Salvador Díaz lives and works in Monterrey.
