Never Ending Print

This work was inspired by studying and interviewing various meditation practitioners over the years and documenting their meditation experience. The artwork attempts to depict the sum of various illusive visual experiences one goes through at the transition time between the conscious state to the deep meditation state. It represents a never-ending series of openings, layers after layers swiftly focusing various stages of life and the incessant attempt of our souls to find meaning within. The concept of the soul walking through the mystical watery floor that reflects throughout the walkway of the maze is the epitome of internal and external struggles one has to go through and overcome at each stage before it reaches the end of the maze. My painting technique is natural and freestyle. It is designed to inspire a tingling sensation to the beholder's intellect and give everyone a pause at the first glance.
