About the Artist
An industrial engineer, Yaso Rivaldo has been painting for more than 35 years. Born in Barranquilla (Colombia), Rivaldo received his first art training from Bellas Artes School in his native town. At the age of 18, he moved to New York where he started exploring with different art techniques until developing his own technique mainly with the use of painting knives. His work has been exhibited in Miami (Florida) and in other shows in his native country.
Rivaldo's artwork depicts the importance of colors, the crucial relationship between light and shadow, and the beauty of hidden messages in his paintings.
