I'm inspired by the lights that make our cities shine. How the lights are reflected on the streets and let the architecture shine. The rainy twilight in the city fascinates me the most and I try to capture those moments on canvas.

Contact us.Elena Plekhova places light and its interaction with the environment at the center of her work. In bold color tones, it atmospherically reflects the effect of both natural and artificial light in everyday scenes.
Elena Plekhova always focuses on depicting the impression of a moment, not realistic documentation. As in a fleeting memory, the objects become reflective surfaces that reflect the light and immerse the scene in a diffuse atmosphere. For this pictorial impression, the details and contours of her motifs increasingly dissolve into color and light spaces or allow the scenery to blur into a colorful aura.
Elena Plekhova attended the Art Academy and graduated with honors. Later she continued her creativity while studying architecture. Architecture and painting were connected by the fine lines of the houses and the emotional direction in the pictures.
On the canvases of their evening cities, everything began to play in rainbow tones, and their inner world and joie de vivre are depicted in the images of rainy light.
They work exclusively in art and work mainly with oil paints, but are also very keen to try other techniques.
"My creativity is my freedom, my world, woven from contrast, because my art makes it easier for me to deal with the light and darkness of life"
