"Night Fire" Fine Art Print

My work has always been a personal exploration of human emotions. Using the female figure as a vehicle, I attempt to capture a moment in time. I do not paint portraits of women; I paint the concept of a woman's emotions, using movement and design to strengthen the feelings generated within. In the high tech world we live in, I feel my work offers a high touch quality, giving the viewer the opportunity to be an active participant in the emotionality of the painting. I explore that same emotionality in an occasional abstract or landscape. Incorporating emotion into a non-sentient form is both a challenge and rewarding as structure and colors combine to create an alternate reality. One thing I always try to convey in my work, no matter if the feeling of the paining is light or dark, is a sense of hope and an innate strength of character to overcome and go forward with life.
