Painter | Based in New York and New Jersey Aleksandra Cherepanova is a full-time painter with over two decades of international exhibition experience. She earned her MFA in painting from Natalia Nesterova Academy of Painting in 2007. Since 2000, she has participated in solo and group shows in New York, Miami, Zurich, Rome, Moscow, and across Europe and Asia. Aleksandra’s paintings are held in museum and private collections worldwide, including Muzeul Judetean de Arta Prahova (Romania), Saltykovka Local History Museum (Russia), and museums in Crimea. She is a multiple prize winner at Russian, European, and Asian art competitions, and has served as a juror in numerous international exhibitions. Currently based in USA, she regularly exhibits at Solas Studio and other venues. In addition to painting, Aleksandra produces a YouTube video series covering the contemporary NYC art scene. Artistic Statement I create large-scale contemporary paintings that explore the complex role of women in modern society. My work delves into themes of femininity, family dynamics, societal expectations, and the workplace, often through the lens of nudes and erotica. I believe that art has the power to inspire and evoke positive energy, and I approach each piece with a commitment to daily practice and continuous exploration of new stylistic and conceptual elements.
