ABOUT THE ARTWORK

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

I was drawn to painting an image of koi swarming underwater because of the amazing abstracted shapes and colors that these fish create. In some places, the fish are easily recognizable, while in others, they become a smudge of color.

Zachary is an artist working in traditional mediums out of Lubbock, Tx. He has been featured in three student juried art exhibitions from 2016-2018 placing 1st, 2nd, and 1st place respectively winning cash prices. He is also currently being featured in the Conroe Art League 4th Invitational Show and placed 3rd in the Fusion Arts Colors International Juried Exhibition. "Currently, I am exploring art in a more whimsical way primarily using collage based paintings. Through these pieces, I am attempting to create a narrative as if the painting were a snapshot of a scene out of a story. Both inanimate and organic elements are used with items often juxtaposed against each other creating an image that will feel fresh and unique. I will often employ images of animals or portraiture and place them in different scenarios providing a look at a story from their view."
