It's not hard to guess which artist inspired me to create this painting – actually, most of my paintings. However, for this specific artwork, the primary inspiration was Jackson Pollock's painting titled (quite coincidentally) 'One: Number 31, 1950'. I didn't intend to replicate Jackson's painting's...

Born and rised in Szczecin, Poland. Lived i Warsaw briefly then came back home, where he lives and works. Painting is one of his area of intrest - the rest includes writing, technology, history, designing, science and many more. In art he finds the possibility to push off the feelings, anger, solitude, pure brutality even. Ok, so far so good, but enough of third person point of view. Jackson Pollock once said that his paintings are made just to look good - they do not need to tell the story, they are made to be beautiful. Ofcourse that may not be true for all artist, but I personally find it accurate to how I define art and paintings in particular. The catharsis in my point of view is not when I see my own creation, but when I actually create it. It really lets me to redirect my emotions into something, I hope, beautiful. I paint mostly abstract, abstract expressionism in particular. I do not even try to hide my inspiration of Jackson Pollock - the action painting is how define my paintings. Sometimes I play with form, sometimes with different style, but I find myself closest to action painting.
