ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When I first started creating art, I tried to set myself up to copy my soul, my spirit in the most basic way and give it a visual form. My art represent my soul, my DNA, my spirit and my desire to leave the box and see what is outside. I am quite the philosophical persona. In ever engaging conflict with my existence and always in clash with our limits of understanding the very essence of our reality. I just want to be free. I create with many layers of acrylic paint, almost sculpture on the canvas. If my art can elevate the spirit of the spectator and engage him with other in philosophical conversations, then I would be happy, because I'd like to be a light for others. Perhaps that is why I like white color so much. I am almost 50. Single and no kids. My art is the only family I have.
