"No Bones" was first created in digital paint and minted as NFT. Given the success of this painting on Instagram, I decided to make a unique version in oil on canvas. The movement of her arms suggest that she is dancing. The title has no meaning (sorry for the lack of imagination). I listened to the...

Luc Josserand, known as L. Joss, was born in 1964 in Firminy, France. He grew up surrounded by Le Corbusier's architecture in a family where art was omnipresent; a painter father and a musician mother. He had a talent for drawing that set him apart from other children. This favorable environment should have pushed him towards an artistic career. However, it was science, technology, then finance that attracted him. Diplomas followed one after the other unrelated to painting: DEA in Physics-Chemistry at the Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg, Engineer from the ECPM in Strasbourg, Master in Finance from the Sorbonne University in Paris, MBA from the Institut de Haute Finance. In parallel with a professional activity, he continued to paint, first for himself and his loved ones, but above all to meet an almost vital need. If he refuses to take his artistic activity seriously, the need to know the value of his work pushes him to exhibit at the Salon d'Automne in Paris in 2002. The work presented is recognized by his peers, the gaze of others becomes for the first time a mirror of his own quest. He wins the second prize for painting in the "young painters" category. He is courted by Parisian galleries. Driven by a thirst for experimentation, he explores digital painting in the 2010s. In the same years, he develops a passion for blockchain technology. In February 2021, he creates his first NFT. This technology provides him with an answer to the quest for the uniqueness of digital works that now become worthy of being integrated into his artistic corpus. He goes further by creating in June 2024 a cryptocurrency backed by a digital painting. Thus, Luc embodies a boldness where the fields of the ancient and the modern mingle, where his vision illuminates these two shores: that of tradition and that of digital.
