Professional Artist I was born in Baghdad I have lived in Switzerland since 1999 I studied art, photography and design I am a Member of the Association of Professional International Artists I have 25 years of art experience My art works are exhibited in many countries around the world I have received the Silver medal from the Italian Arts Academy and multiple appreciation certificates I have had twenty-seven personal exhibitions, many of which were international exhibitions I am interested in ancient history and symbols of ancient civilizations The painting gives inspiration as if it were coming from the past, every painting is a journey of endless discovery The technique has high privacy, unique and cannot be replicated. My more recent paintings have hand-made frame where the central painting pops out. I'm from the country of the east, the country of sun, light, colors, history and the stories of a thousand and one nights. With a burning passion for exploration, I love paint and its smell. I love colors and I enjoy playing with it on the fabric of my paintings. Sometimes it's a canvas, others paper and even wood. In my childhood I stood tall in front of clay and stone sculptures that were made by my Sumerian ancestors which today provide me with the treasure of inspiration. Ancient symbols of an extinct world living on today I used layers of paint that I make appear ancient to help create the image of a long forgotten time Since I am a designer and I have worked in the field of marketing and decor, it has helped me create a painting that is whole, which bring painting, decor and design together.
