ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I live on an island and see the ocean every day. I don’t notice him. For me, it's just a flat horizon. Without any meaning. The meaning appears only when I see a ship floating in the ocean. Then I look at him for a long time and come up with a story for him where he is swimming and why. This collection is dedicated to ships, but in the future I’m thinking of reaching the inhabitants of the deep sea. The technique in which I work reflects my inner world. The sharpness of movements, speed, desire to express their feelings on canvas as quickly as possible. Look at these pictures and feel how I feel.

I am a professional contemporary living and working in the Canary Islands. I was born in Minsk, Belarus. After earning a degree in architecture, I worked as an architect and designer for many years. In 2016, I moved to the island of Tenerife and fully dedicated myself to painting. I actively participate in international art competitions and projects, which I believe are great incentives for creativity and self-development. My work has been exhibited in Italy, Spain, the United States, Indonesia, India and South Africa, and I have received multiple awards for my participation. What I Do My work explores the tension between oversaturation and clarity. Sometimes, objects disappear from my paintings, leaving only lines, color spots, emotions, and energy. At other times, an object's form becomes the focus, expressed boldly and hyperbolically through the same tools. How I Work I paint in an expressive and impulsive manner, capturing strong emotions without delay. My process is fast and concentrated, blending structure with chaos to reflect my character and attitude toward life. My Technique I use a multi-layered approach, building structural compositions with large color spots and refining them with dynamic lines and graphic elements to guide the viewer's eye. My materials include watercolor, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, liners, and markers—often combined in a single piece, balancing figurative elements with abstraction.
