Northern Gates is a historical depiction of northern Nigeria before the colonial era of the 30s-40s (19th century). The northern gates were used to protect themselves against invaders, enemies and wild animals and build a safe and warm environment for cultural and commercial coexistence which they are well known for to this date. This art shows the unique architecture and beauty of how it all began from little seeds to big vibrant and powerful society.
