ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Northern Lights" is a one of a kind unique painting that shows the beauty of the evening lights. Vibrant green and blue stand out to surround the sinking sun in colors of orange, yellow and red. The stars are just appearing and twinkle as the sun disappears. Shades of purple reflect in the lake and the trees on the shore line whisper "goodbye" to the setting sun. We used a two step process to create this painting. Firstly, a fluid art technique is used and the paint is manipulated to create the background. Secondly, we hand paint the embellishments to acquire the desired effect. This is a gallery wrapped canvas. This painting was created for a themed contest in a local art gallery which was featuring nature. Painting comes ready to hang. This one of a kind wall art is created by the collaboration of two sisters who specialize in inspirational art to brighten your day and enhance your home decor. Each painting is one of a kind and unique due to the creative process we use. (Colors may differ slightly due to different computer screens)

Lori - From a young age, I have always loved painting horses, animals, scenery & Native American scenes in a realistic style, using pen & ink and acrylic paint.
