ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I occasionally see a very translucent purple color while awake if I have a passionate feeling or epiphany “aha” thought that makes me very happy. This painting depicts that moment, which also shows the wings whereby my heart is full and I can fly. Watercolor and ink painting has a touch of a acrylic. On watercolor paper. I passionately painted this in Roseville, California in my living room. April 2020.

I am a Fine Art Artist, I paint botanicals, landscapes, abstracts. “What I paint depends on my heart and mood. “Mainly I paint in bold colors however the intensity varies from season to season. I do a lot of acrylics and water colors and absolutely love painting “Plein-air”, which is outside in my yard, near my picturesque flowers, birds, and vegetable garden. Wherever I am or travel to. Wherever I travel, I do my photography, digital art, painting and designing. “When I paint I wholeheartedly put my entire soul and being into my work” says Dottie. “My art is me, and explains me.
