The work was inspired by summer sailing in St Petersburg and Copenhagen. It is work #11 from the “Sailing collection: Free as the Seagulls”. It will perfectly fit into your living room, bed room or TV room with yellow-ish, blue or white wall paper / wall paint, or decorate your own yacht or boat. The materials used are French oil pastel chalks and thick 250 g/m2 color paper. Oils pastels are a perfect medium for creating fast (2-3 hours), alive and vivid impressionistic landscapes and cityscapes, that contain spirit and emotion. My marine seascapes are devoted to all the sea lovers, pirates and world travellers: yachtsmen, captains, sailors, racers, swimmers, divers, surfers, snorklers and other appreciators!
