One of the Seven Wonders of the World. Magnificent and breathtaking Petra in Jordan. This place is so unique and vibrant with changing color, that it made the biggest impact on Natalias artistic journey. The work comes from a collection of over 60 oil paintings inspired by a journey through the Middle East. Picture painted in oil technique on cotton canvas. This Wonder of the World inspired the painter to undertake extensive studies in this subject. In many paintings devoted to Petra, the author analyzes the object in various perspectives, views and scales. The artist also spends a lot of time preparing her own canvas, because the process of preparing the canvases is also part of the painting. For this exceptional creative attitude, in 2019 she was awarded the ministerial badge of Merit for Polish Culture. The painting belongs to the "Immensity" collection, which we heartily recommend. The edges have been painted over as a continuation of frontal view.
