ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Sea glass wave is inspired by the glowing transparency of ocean waves as they are backlit by the setting sun. The stained glass radiance is so brilliant to witness, I wanted to capture that moment. Using many, many layers of glazes and transparent pigments is how I create the effect that I see. I like to use thicker textures for the foam as a counterbalance. I love working with texture versus smooth flow. Using a large sized canvas creates more of an impact. Enjoy!
