What I wanted to express and I would like the audience to feel is the sense of emptiness and despair that the tragic hero has after receiving the news from Tiresias that he is doubly guilty of his father's crime and of incest with his mother For this reason I used a very rapid and at the same time expressive technique with the emergence of the figure from the darkness of the abyss of his inner self
