Founded in June 2022, the collective aims to preserve and revitalize traditional Vietnamese art forms such as Hàng Trống, Đông Hồ, and Kim Hoàng paintings by blending them with lacquer techniques, offering a fresh perspective on folk art. Latoa Indochine’s artwork often incorporates cultural themes, ranging from traditional folk motifs to modern expressions of Vietnamese heritage, such as depictions of lotus flowers and rural landscapes. One of their key goals is to introduce these traditional art forms to a global audience, and their work has been featured in exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
