ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I met a mountain dog during one of my trips to a mountain cottage in Kodaikanal. His name was Jackie - a playful, free-willed mountain dog with the attitude of a prince. Unfortunately, he is no more as he was poisoned when he trespassed into another farm. His character mesmerized me and I wanted to paint him. This is an oil painting of Jackie in his remembrance.
