ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A still-life painting of a few objects I found from an old man's past. This entire set-up was painted directly from life without utilizing photography to avoid distortion and in order to achieve maximum 3D depth. This artwork is one of a kind and is completed using many glazes of thin oil paints in the darks with thicker opaque lights. Pictures cannot recreate the depth of dimension and vibrancy of the layered colors.
