Framed Size is 12 x12 in - actual piece is 9 x 9 in. This piece is part of a series of work called "LA Sunsets" some of which are on exhibit at the Awareness Center in Pasadena CA thru Jan 7 2023. These are new watercolor sunset paintings of Los Angeles featuring bold expressionistic color.... This is a special piece - I was moved greatly to see the sacred Om symbol in the sky the other night and was thrilled to be able to include it in this painting.

Harnam, (aka Tony Zatzick,MFA) is a multi-media visual, recording, and performance artist. There is a strong spiritual component to his work which often takes the form of vivid spontaneous watercolors as well as layered sacred chant recordings. His live events incorporate yogic technology to give participants an experience of their own spiritual reality using art and music. His work has been selected for exhibition by many well-known artists and critics and his work has been included in exhibition alongside Philp Pearlstein, Janet Fish and Jamie Wyeth. He received a BA in Painting from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1989, and an MFA from Western Connecticut State University, where he was awarded the Master of Fine Art award in 2004. He is an art materials expert and has been demonstrating the Liquitex and Winsor & Newton brands for over 14 years as part of the The Fine Art Collective.
