Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee Diane Green graduated in 1984 with a BFA in Painting at Memphis College of Art. Selling her paintings on the street, Diane left Memphis to upgrade her art career. In the 1990s, after moving to Chicago and becoming a single mom, Diane created an art clothing company called Original Face. Since 1998, Diane’s paintings have been included in over 35 shows. Today she lives in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, painting, art projects, and screenwriting in her home studio. Diane is writing a series of "poetically theorized science fiction" novels.
