Marina Bordovska was born and raised in Latvia, and moved to Sweden in 2011. She currently lives and works in Stockholm. The artist works in both figurative and abstract genres, mainly with acrylic paints. Marina states, I create my paintings with acrylics on canvas. My favorite color is blue. Blue color is the sky, this is the sea, this is freedom for me. Usually, I paint landscapes realistically that reflects purity, peace, purity of thoughts. I consider the whole world my home and I want it to be peaceful. You can find her art in numerous private collections. Marina graduated from an art school in Riga, as well as a separate acrylic course.
