About The Artwork

Riding the bus requires patience to wait for the bus to come. On a hot evening, when the shirts cling to backs and the minutes seem to drag, it seems like time has stopped. There is time to notice the fingerprints on the plastic station windows and the pink moon sitting above the apartment houses. This work tells the story of those humid moments in 2004. The text at the side reiterates the inaction, repeating itself. Vehicles pass without giving much notice to the crowd at the bus stop. They blend into the reflections and lights of the night - invisible.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Art is a passion, which I steadfastly develop in my own way, getting inspiration from fragments of poetry, photographs or stories, rather than from drawings or paintings of other artists. Dr. Dalia Hakker-Orion, curator of my solo exhibition in Tel Aviv wrote: “She doesn’t paint according to instructions or styles, but evolves at her own pace, creating original paintings manifesting passages connecting different realities.” My story stretches from my childhood home in Southern California to the Sea of Galilee in Israel. My dual citizenship has strongly influenced my perspectives. From multiple traditions, art emerges as the visual expression of movement and multi-layered ideas. I am currently working with encaustic paint that I make in my studio. My work incorporates a variety of materials: oil, acrylic, pastel, pencil sketches, and found objects.
