ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspiration for this painting I have found in Jim Jarmuschs movie "Only lovers left alive". The painting shows dominant female figure and thus questions stereotypical image of woman: passive, weaker, subordinate and a man as an opposition to it. Male figure is relaxed and seems to have no problem with the woman and her attitude, and that means respect and acceptance that should be shown to every member of our society, no metter wicht gender, nationality, sexual orientation she/he/it belongs to.
