ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My latest work, "Opale", is a contemporary expressionist portrait. It is a personalized commission, a continuation of a painting that was already started by another artist during a live performance of Opale on stage. I have reinvested and put my own touch on it. I wanted to highlight Opale's dynamic and vibrant personality. The piece is created using a mixed technique, using spray paint and acrylic on canvas. The pink and red tones are used to represent energy and passion, while abstract blue touches add a dynamic dimension to the overall composition. Opale's face is worked on, alternating between expressionistic and abstract touches. The abstract background, with its dancing colors and shapes, evokes the rhythm and fluidity of music, like a symphony.
