About The Artwork

This work called "Orange Swing" is a new foray into my work, I incorporate a graphic gesture of black line to my composition of color fields. Taking my collage work and colored paper cutouts as a starting point to create compositions, this gives me the possibility of working on different alternatives to composing with shape, but I wanted to integrate a moving line that would make the pieces vibrate and give dynamism. my composition. I like to leave gaps on the canvas almost bare, just pre-treated with casein glue with some zinc white to give it some light and leave my canvas sealed and taut as a drum to apply the acrylic paint and also some pigment mixed with very diluted casein glue to give a bit of texture and nuances to the work. It is signed on the front and on the back. Shipped rolled in a tube. https://annabelandrews.eu/online-exhibition/
