Orchids and butterflies original painting by Tatiana Orlovetskaya. I decided to paint this picture in the early spring of 2021, when my favorite Paphiopedilum orchids bloomed. The extraordinary beauty of these exotic flowers inspired me to take oil paints, a stretched canvas, a palette knife and start working on a painting. The painting was painted in my studio, where orchids posed for me. With the help of a palette knife, I was able to create beautiful and unique textured paint strokes that can be seen in the photo in a larger shot. I decided to add butterflies to the composition, which I also love very much. This painting is part of a series of my works dedicated to orchids. Work size 20 × 24 × 0.7 inches. The sides are painted in the color of the background of the picture and do not require additional framing. Ready to hang. Author's signature in front and behind the image.
