ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Oriental waves reminisces the silk route and the rich fabrics that traveled its length. It is a study of colour and weave, the bright seamlessly fading into dark shadows. This painting is created with premium quality materials. The canvas is acid-free with titanium coating from Fine Art . Special Holbein paints from Tokyo, Japan are used for the more unique shades. These are blended with Artist Acrylics from Winsor & Newton, Pebeo, Brustro, Royal & Langnickel and Camlin. The painting is then coated with UV protection and Japanese Design Coat varnish to keep the painting clean and fresh.
