Lesley is an English artist currently based near Washington D.C. on the Eastern Shore. After graduating from the RCA she lived & painted in London for many years where she exhibited extensively. She moved to Florida with her American husband in 2003 where she was "blown away" by the color & the heat! She re-visited Hockney's California paintings. In 2012 Lesley moved north to Maryland where she discovered a marshy, isolated landscape that resembles Dungeness, Kent, one of her early inspirations "where the wild blue delphiniums grow along the edge of the nuclear power plant".
